Wall Street Nuggets hopes to offer a videoblog approach to gathering and packaging information on the web. However, initially we will only provide occasional textual nuggets reflecting interesting observations. Our focus will initially be on market data for about the top 3,500 U.S. companies, as automatically extracted from public sources and packaged in a way that is hopefully both entertaining and informative.
While we may make judgement calls on specific stocks, the goal is to be as objective as possible. The ultimate goal is to provide insights and information that are tuned to visitors’ particular interests - and, at the end of the day, to make the markets more efficient. The tuning components are under development and not available at this time.
We believe strongly in making the content as accessible as possible and so we welcome any feedback that identifies unnecessary jargon or technobabble. If anything is unclear, PLEASE ask for an explanation.
